Join the Polk Museum of Art for spring break art camp! Give your child (ages 7-13) a FUN, CREATIVE, and OPEN atmosphere to develop their love and appreciation for the arts. Camp classes will provide the freedom of exploration through creativity, medium, and technique.
Students will choose ONE Spring Break Art Camp class to master their skills in – attending that specific class all day for all five days.
- Traditional 2D Animation (Ages 7-9)
- Illustrations and Contraptions (Ages 7-9)
- Digital Drawing (Ages 10-13)
- Performance (Ages 10-13)
- Digital Photography (Ages 10-13)
Max capacity for classes is 15 or 20 students. All classes are taught by certified art teachers and/or art professionals. Background checks are conducted for all teachers and Museum staff.
Camp runs Monday – Friday, March 23 – 27. Camp hours are 9am – 4pm. A supervised 30-minute lunch break and 30-minute snack break will be provided each day. Students must bring their own lunch and the daily snack will be provided by the Museum.

$120 for Members, $200 for Non-Members
Family Memberships are $80/year.

Join Camp Fire for Vacation Station during Spring Break!
Each day of Vacation Station, participants will learn about a different landmark and the country that houses it, in this virtual trip around the world. Fun, hands-on activities and educational enhancements provide a day filled with recreation and learning. For kids in grades K – 5th.
Vacation Station provides purposeful, fun, and appropriate programming for your children (K-5) on those special days when school is out-of-session. Staffed with caring, attentive staff, your child will have an opportunity to learn about the world around them in a way that will encourage them to grow mentally, emotionally and socially.
Structured program is from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with early & late care available from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Build your way through Spring Break at Explorations V Children’s museum! Join Explorations V for Spring Break Mini-Camps March 23 – 27 as we become play engineers.
Flexible options including AM Session, PM Session, or a full day of play, and anywhere from 1-5 days. Programs lead by the Museum’s certified education team.
Ages 5 – 12.
Mini Camp Schedule
9 – 11 am Classroom projects in private classroom with an educator
11 am – 1 pm Lunch (student provided) and Museum play time
1 – 3 pm Classroom project lead by Museum Educator and walking field trips in downtown (weather permitting)
3 – 5 pm Snack and Museum play time

Great Escapes is a youth enrichment opportunity available for elementary school-aged students (K-5th grade) during select school holidays. The program includes games, crafts, sports and lots of fun!
