Camp Fire is one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit youth development organizations offering all-inclusive, co-educational programs. Founded in 1910, Camp Fire’s outcome-based programs include youth leadership, self-reliance, after school groups, camping and environmental education and child care.
Our STEAM Team After-School Program is a science-based, academic enrichment program for youth in K-7th grade. It includes:
☀ Hands-on activities and experiments to increase knowledge in science and improve reading comprehension and math skills.
☀ Daily homework assistance is provided, as well as facilitated reading comprehension activities.
☀ Students also enjoy daily snacks, outdoor activities, and free play.
For the 2019-2020 school year, Camp Fire will pickup from: Blake Academy, Cleveland Court Elementary, Cygnet School, Lincoln Avenue Academy, Philip O’Brien Elementary, Roberts Academy, and Rochelle School of the Arts. Students will go to our Program Center on Buckingham Avenue. Parents pickup from there by 6 p.m.
