eSchool or Virtual School is an appealing option for many parents this fall, but what if you’re a parent who works outside the home? Or a work-at-home parent who can’t simultaneously work and supervise eLearning? Or maybe work isn’t an issue but you are looking for an eLearning “Community Hub” where your kids will have social interaction but not a full return to campus? Whether you are selecting eCampus, Polk Virtual school, or Florida Virtual school, there are support options available for your family.
The local organizations and businesses listed below are expanding their available child care services during the school year to provide supervision for elementary and/or middle school-aged children on school days. They will provide academic support for distance learning, enrichment activities, a structured day, and after school care if needed.
We will continue to add to this list as we learn about new options so check back often, if you know of a business offering support for virtual school or community learning pods for families this fall, contact us and we’ll get it added.
