Every kid should beat the heat this summer and turn up the dial on fun! Thanks to the generosity and vision of the Iron Horse Foundation, three days this summer will be FREE! On June 7, July 5, and August 2, 2019, it will be free to play and explore the downtown children’s museum from 9am – 5:30 p.m.
Explorations V Children’s Museum has three floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits. The main level named “Our Town” and mimics a child-size pretend city. This type of play is the cornerstone of childhood and allows Museum educators opportunities to interject literacy development, collaboration, and access to technology and robotics workshops weekly. The upper level currently features a temporary experience called “Explore Art”, which is made possible through a grant from Visit Central Florida. In this gallery, children use technology to make art in three different ways but without the screen time. The lower level is “O is for Oranges” and takes guests on a journey from orange seed to orange juice factory and beyond.
For more information about the free admission days, visit www.ExplorationsV.com or call the Museum’s main line at (863) 687-3869.
