John McGee Park Dedication & Ribbon Cutting

The community is invited to join the City of Lakeland with the McGee Family as we dedicate John McGee Park with a ribbon cutting on Saturday, June 4^th at 10 a.m.  John McGee Park (formally Cypress Youth Sports Complex) is located at 2125 S. Edgewood Drive.

The park includes an automotive-themed play area for kids, in honor of the late John McGee, founder of McGee Tire Stores in Lakeland (1974-2016). Also includes over a 1/2 mile walking path and lighted multipurpose fields. These improvements are a great addition to the already established multipurpose fields and bathroom facilities at the park, formerly known as the Cypress Youth Sports Complex.
