The return of the most anticipated rematch in Polk County: Battle of the Badges IV. Polk County Sheriff’s Office looks to defend their title of Softball Champion against the Lakeland Police Department.

Gates will open at 3pm, first pitch for the softball game will be at 3:45pm. Teams will conclude play at 5pm. Following the game will be a trophy presentation, check presentation, a fallen officer tribute, leading up to the 6pm Flying Tigers game. Flying Tigers players and coaches will be wearing specialty law enforcement appreciation jerseys.

The 29 game worn jerseys will be available for purchase for $100. Purchasing will begin Friday. Jerseys will be game worn and autographed by the Flying Tigers player or coach following the game on Saturday. Proceeds from the jerseys will benefit the corresponding foundations of the LPD and PCSO.

There will be a silent auction of a specialty jersey signed by the Flying Tigers team and a specialty jersey signed by Sheriff Grady Judd and Lakeland Police Chief Garcia.

There will be a fireworks extravaganza presented by Aaron’s Furniture following the Flying Tigers game.

Parking is free.
Must purchase ticket to June 1st Flying Tigers game to attend Battle of the Badges softball game.
