Lakeland Regional Health is currently offering Telehealth Appointments with their Pediatric and Primary Care practices, as well as Specialty Care and Behavioral Health.
This means that you will be able to schedule a phone call or video call with your provider and receive care from the convenience and comfort of your own home.
Lakeland Regional Health’s outpatient locations remain open for in-person appointments, but this new service is another way for you and your family to receive medical care, especially during this time when it is very important to limit exposure to others.

- Most insurance companies cover Telehealth visits and standard insurance rates typically apply. Consult with your insurance provider as some copays may even be waived.
- You do not need to be an established patient with LRH to use Telehealth. New patients will fill out new-patient paperwork.
- You have the option to choose a phone call or an actual video visit. Video visits are encouraged if you have something you would like your provider to see.

How to Schedule a Telehealth Appointment:
To schedule your Telehealth appointment, call 863.284.5000. The LRH team will walk you through the process to get scheduled. For your convenience, you can also call your own Primary Care Physician or Pediatrician’s office directly.
On the day of your scheduled Telehealth appointment, you will receive a text or email with a website link for you to click that will take you to your appointment. There are no apps to download or subscription to buy – it’s that simple! The actual appointment with the doctor or provider should last approximately 15 minutes.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms, LRH has multiple examination and testing options. Visit their website to learn more.
If you plan to seek medical care in person for COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, especially respiratory-related issues, LRH encourages you to call first at 863.284.5000 so they can provide you with important instructions on what to do when you arrive. For emergencies, call 911 or visit the nearest Emergency Room.
