Leadercast Women Central Florida: A Powerful One Day Leadership Event

Leadercast Women

On a Wednesday afternoon in October 2018, I received a text from a friend… “Hey! Want to join me for Leadercast Women on Friday?”

My immediate reaction was to say no. I had a long list of projects to get done for work, and the thought of giving up an entire day in the office made me cringe.

But a voice in my head reminded me I had considered buying a ticket but never did. That same voice reminded me that I can always use more wisdom from professional women about success, life-lessons, and leadership. So I hit reply and said “Yes, count me in for tomorrow.”

I am so glad I said yes!

Look at all those friendly faces! Can you find me? Front row, yellow shirt.

Leadercast Women is a one-day leadership event that is hosted in Atlanta and broadcast to host sites all over the country. Last year, nine different nationally renowned speakers shared inspirational stories, life lessons, and encouragement. Each of these “leadership experts” had a unique message that I could apply to my own leadership journey, work ethic, and personal life.

I laughed, I listened, I reflected, and I connected with other women. It was a great one-day leadership event and I would love for you to come join me at Leadercast Women 2019 on Friday October 18.

2019 Theme: Take Courage

From the Leadercast website: “Be inspired by nine, world-renowned women leaders as they share their courageous stories on one powerful stage. Join thousands in this single-day, transformative leadership experience and walk away with the courage to make a difference in your community, the boldness to take control of your career and the confidence to lead and guide others to thriving futures.”

I don’t know about you, but I can always use an extra dose of courage, boldness, and confidence.

2019 Speakers

These are all women who have made a significant difference in their business, community and society. Why the Bartow Chamber puts on this important event

As a Chamber, we are excited to bring this valuable program to the Central Florida area. Female leaders face unique challenges and Leadercast Women focuses on those through the experiences of the nine speakers on stage throughout the day. This program is certainly not only for women, but men as well. By offering this program, we hope to promote a more diverse workforce and create a united front to leadership.” -Kathryn Bevilacqua-Ely, Membership Services Director

Worried about not knowing anyone?

Come with me! If you buy a ticket for this event, I’d love for you to let me know and plan to hang with me (April). I didn’t know a lot of people last year but had some great conversations over lunch. The other ladies attending were friendly and easy to talk to, plus after you hear the speakers you’ll have plenty to talk about during the breaks.

Whether you want to enhance your leadership skills to lead yourself, your team, your company, your family, or just want to be inspired to Take Courage, I encourage you to invest in yourself and attend Leadercast Women. Register Now!
