As of the date of publishing, Polk County does not require face masks, however many national retailers with locations in our area are now requiring masks at ALL locations, regardless of the local mask mandates. Below is a list of stores and restaurants requiring masks in Polk County. Most of these stores also offer online ordering and/or curbside pick up that don’t require you to enter the store.
Keep in mind that this is not a comprehensive list, it is a list of national retailers with company wide mask mandates. All indoor locations (stores, restaurants, etc) within the city limits of Lakeland or Winter Haven also require masks. There may also be other locally-owned businesses that choose to require masks even if they are not required by the city where they are located.
Most of these stores have indicated they will provide masks to customers if needed. Some stores have specific exceptions for children and those who are physically unable to wear a mask, customers should call a store first to ask questions if you have concerns.
