The most abundant rocks on Earth are sedimentary, making up nearly 65% of our planet’s surface. Join us at the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center from 10AM – 2PM on September 2 to explore the fascinating world of geology! Guests will have the opportunity to model the rock cycle, investigate characteristics of rocks, and simulate how gemstones are mined. This event is open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.
