“What do you love about nature?”
For all of us, nature plays an important role in our lives and for many of us, it even has a special place in our hearts. Many of us love nature for different reasons; for the birds, the reptiles, the plants, recreation, and even for the peace we can find within nature itself!
On this Nature Fun-Day, “For the Love of Nature,” our volunteers will share with you all what they love about nature. Each station/booth will be uniquly adapted to the parts of nature that they love. Our volunteers will share what they are passionate about within our natural world with the help of a craft and/or activity. So come learn, create, bring your valentine, and discover why we love our natural resources, and why you should too!
Date & Time : Saturday, February15th, 9:30am-12:00pm
Location: The flexi-pave trail leading out from the Discovery Center. Around the picnic pavilions. (If rain is forecasted the morning of the event, stations will be move into the Nature Center.)
Tickets & Sign-Ups: No sign-up required, but is highly recommended to help for planning purposes. Register on Eventbrite for a free ticket.
