Over the past 6+ years, our Facebook Group – the Lakeland Moms Group – has grown to over 10,000 local moms and averages 500 posts per month, plus thousands of comments. As the group has grown, the amount of time required to manage the group has also grown. In addition to running our main website and social media channels for LakelandMom.com, the Lakeland Moms Group is a significant part of my daily business operations.
In the past, I have limited business promotions to the Marketing Mondays post each week to keep the group feed from becoming full of sales pitches and endless advertisements. But I also realize there are many local moms and local businesses offering fantastic products and services to local families who want to connect with group members.
We are offering the opportunity for a limited number of Sponsors to advertise within the group.

This advertising option is only for women that are members of the Lakeland Moms Group on Facebook. It is a private Facebook group open to women in Polk County. If you are not a member of the group, please refer back to our main Advertising page for a full list of options.
A few guidelines for Lakeland Moms Group Sponsor posts:
- Posts must be made by an individual in the group. Pages cannot join the group {it is women only} and we don’t intend to change that requirement. These posts will be made by you – the group member – not by Lakeland Mom.
- Posts will be allowed on Thursdays. A monthly package will include 1 post per week / 4 per month.
- Posts will need to include #Sponsor (Lakeland Moms Group Sponsor) at the end of the post.
- Sponsor approval is at the admin’s discretion, our goal is to make this opportunity beneficial for both the sponsor and the moms in the group. Sponsored posts should be relevant to children, motherhood, or adulting, and promote a local product, service, or event.
- Sponsor businesses must be insured and be operating under all applicable Florida laws including Business Licensing.
- We do not guarantee exclusivity in any category or product, but we are monitoring requests to ensure that we have a variety of Sponsors offering a variety of products and services to make this beneficial for group members.
- We do not make any guarantees on the reach of your post. Remember that people are most likely to interact with you if you are solving a problem, meeting one of their needs, or offering an exclusive discount!
