Sewing is a wonderful creative outlet that develops dexterity, fine motor skills, patience, and self-confidence. Plus, it’s fun!
Children ages 9-12 are invited to join us for a free four-class hands-on learn to sew summer sewing camp at the eLibrary South Lakeland! Learn how to use a sewing machine, basic stitches, and hand-sewing skills as you make fun projects to take home.
Registration is required and will open one week before classes begin. Registration is for all four (4) classes in the camp, but seating is limited to six (6) participants.
**NOTE: If you have attended Spools Out for Summer or Learn to Sew for Kids previously, you are not eligible to register for this learn-to-sew series. Any repeat registrants will be removed from the list.**
Camp is July 11-14, 2022 @ 2 PM – 3:30 PM – Registration opens on July 4 @ 2 pm
This event listing is only for the first day of camp. Sewing camps run for 4 days, advance registration is required.
