Polk County School Calendar for 2026-2027: Public, Private, + Charter Schools

The Polk County School Board approved the 2026 – 2027 Polk School Calendar {Florida} in October 2024. A copy of the calendar for future school years is below to help you plan out the academic year and schedule vacations or childcare for Polk County school holidays, staff development days, and other breaks. This calendar applies to all public schools in Polk County – high school, middle school, and elementary schools.

Polk County Schools Calendar 2026 – 2027

Charter schools (such as McKeel and some Montessori schools) and Private Schools all have their own calendars, see below or check directly with your school for school calendars.

The 2026-2027 school calendar was APPROVED during the PCSB meeting on October 22, 2024. This calendar is for all Polk Public Schools (not charter schools or private schools), and could still change if hurricane make-up days are needed.

Spanish and Haitian Creole versions of the calendar are available on the PCSB website, as well as printable calendars. (TIP – click the Calendar Feed icon on the top right of the calendar to add all dates to your Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar)

The Schools of McKeel Academy Calendar

The Schools of McKeel Academy (South McKeel, McKeel Central, McKeel Academy of Technology) approved the calendar for the 2026-2027 school year on 12/5/24. Please note that McKeel schools do not participate in early release days except for the final day of school if indicated on the calendar.
