Family Psychological Services realizes that no two families or people are the same and, as such, we tailor our therapy and psychological testing to meet the specific developmental and mental health needs of our clients. Our team of therapists integrate various treatment modalities within a play therapy setting. We provide individual, family, and group  therapy for toddlers, children, and adolescents.

Child Find offers information and FREE SCREENINGS for children (birth – 5 years) who may have difficulty learning, speaking, playing, seeing, walking, or hearing. Contact Child Find if you think your child might need special help. There is no charge for screenings, regardless of family income. Child Find can help assess your child’s vision, hearing, speech, and developmental skills and then provide referrals and information on relevant programs and community resources.

Lakeland Psychology is the private psychological practice of Dr. Suzanne Lavelle and associates.  Dr. Lavelle provides psychological assessment for children, teens and adults.  She also provides treatment planning and psychotherapy, as well as consultations for other clinicians and professionals.  Free telephone consultations are offered.

Children’s Emergency Department + Pediatric ICU
You’ll also find a dedicated Children’s Emergency Department and Pediatric ICU at the hospital. They also offer classes for childbirth, nursing, and caring for a newborn.

LRH is home to multiple board-certified pediatricians and board-certified nurse practitioners (APRN) who provide care in Lakeland and Winter Haven. LRH partners with Nemours Children’s Health System pediatric specialists.

Center for Fetal Care
