Calvary Baptist Church Academy is a K-12 private Christian school and homeschool support group in Lakeland, Florida offering an award-winning fine arts program (choir, band, drama, visual art), junior varsity and varsity sports, and academic record keeping.
Kelly Recreation Complex is a 30,000+ square foot facility that provides a variety of features and offers the residents of Lakeland (and visitors) access to a diverse selection of recreation activities. Programs offered at Kelly Rec include pre-ballet for kids, adult dance classes (latin, swing, belly dance, line dance, salsa), martial arts, basketball, chess, sewing, guitar, etiquette, and more.
GTE Academy is a faith-based, nonprofit academy located in Lakeland, Florida. Operated under the Moknowledge Youth Foundation (501(c)(3)), we serve student-athletes from around the world by providing a unique blend of accredited academics, elite basketball training, and spiritual development.
Lakeland Homeschool PE offers classes for students age 5 (as of Sept. 1) – 12th grade. To become a member, come out to the park and sign up. Tuesdays, 9 – 10:30 AM at Lake Parker Park, Entrance 2 at the soccer fields. Check FB page for updates and start date. Students participate in exercise, team sports, fun, and friendship. This is a true co op, parents participate and do not leave while students attend PE. Cost is $5 per child annually, with a family cap of $25.
Our Arena in the heart of Lakeland offers year-round public ice skating as well as Professional Coaching for both Figure Skating and Ice Hockey, all Hockey Camps, Tournaments and Special events, Elite Level Hockey Opportunities, Organized Travel Hockey Programs, Rec hockey, Ice Skating Camps, Spaces for Parties and special events.
Saints Sports is an open-to-the-public community league for boys and girls ages 5-12. This league is dedicated to developing a well-rounded athlete by giving participants equal playing time, building self-esteem, and teaching the fundamentals of each sport, we help young athletes develop a love of the game that sets them on a path for a healthy lifestyle, safe play, and future athletic success.
Practices are once a week and games are on Saturday mornings – no travel required! Located at All Saints Academy in Winter Haven. Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball and Volleyball.
Skating to Excellence Academy offers a supportive community dedicated to helping figure skaters and hockey skaters of all levels achieve their goals. Our academy follows US Figure Skating standards. Homeschool skating classes are offered weekly at Lakeland Ice Arena with public skate immediately following.

The Village Schoolhouse is a veteran owned and operated company that offers life skill classes to all ages! Brittany, a published author, long time nanny, mother of two and life-long baker will be teaching: Baking, Creative Writing, Colors Numbers and Letters (for toddlers), Newborn Safety Workshop and The World Around Us for toddlers. Jarrod, a former Marine now certified physical fitness trainer will be teaching: Physical Fitness, Managing Money, Taxes and Stocks, Prepared and Readiness, Understanding Nutrition, Joining the Military Workshop and Coffee and Espresso Workshop.

WonderHere is a learn & play studio that offers hands-on homeschool classes, creative extracurriculars, homeschool support, summer and holiday camps, birthday parties, mommy & me toddler classes, & an open studio for free & structured play. The WonderHere Schoolhouse is a small private school for age 4 – 5th grade, founded on the principles of play-based, project-driven, and personalized education. Utilizing our Family-Style™ Schoolhouse model, children are taught core skills and concepts, while also getting the opportunity to explore their own interests with the guidance of teacher mentorship.
