Are you looking for things to do with teenagers?? I’ve got two teenage boys and they have had SO much fun when we’ve taken them to play bingo or to a trivia night.

So you’re ready for a night of fun and hoping you’ll win a prize or two, but you still have questions. Does Bingo cost money? Can you play bingo for free? The answer to both questions is YES. There are two types of Bingo games:

Bar Bingo / Music Bingo / Jukebox Bingo – typically played at restaurants, bars, and breweries. Guests play for free and it is considered a “game promotion” under Florida law. Prizes include free food, drinks, and gift cards.

“Real” Bingo – A Bingo game where participants pay money for bingo cards, and the payout for winning is cash money. Bingo can only be hosted by a charitable, nonprofit, or veterans’ organization, as well as some condo and homeowners associations. Florida has a long list of very specific laws surrounding Bingo games (849.0931 F.S.). It is also restricted to ages 18+ so this type of bingo is something to do with adult family members, a girls night out, or date night activity, not something to do with kids!

Bar Bingo / Music Bingo / Jukebox Bingo

Below you’ll find a list of family friendly bar bingo / music bingo nights held at local restaurants, bars, and breweries. The general expectation is that you are there to eat and/or drink {AKA – you should be spending money on food and drinks} and the opportunity to play bingo is fun entertainment for the evening. Kids can typically participate but check with each venue to confirm.
