In honor of Black History Month, Explorations V is hosting a celebration of African American Heritage on February 26, 2022, at 1 pm. The event aims to highlight the importance of Black Heritage and Black History in the Lakeland area.   

The celebration will feature performances, arts and crafts, and visual art on display from local artists. Both Crystal’s World of Dance and Ultimate Dance Center will highlight African dance with demonstrations. Guests can also create their own piece of art inspired by Alma Woodsey Thomas.  

The event price is included in general admission and free for members. Advanced registration is not required.
