EVENT DETAILS

For many years, the Christmas season has included tours of Christmas lights in Bartow in the George Street area, and additional activities as part of the Bartow Christmas Light Festival.

This year’s event will be from 6-10 p.m., Dec. 17-24, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1305 East Mann Rd., and will offer free festival admission, free Santa photos and a free petting zoo.

Other activities include horse-drawn carriage and wagon tours, tractor-pulled hayride tours, a live nativity scene, light-up toys, snow, food, games, pony rides, face painting, a rock wall, carnival swing and more. Some activities – including the carriage and wagon tours of Christmas lights – are an additional charge.
