Join us for a free ice skating special event hosted by the Skating to Excellence Academy at Lakeland Ice Arena. This special event is open to all Lakeland/Winter Haven area homeschoolers of all ages and is designed for homeschooling families, providing an opportunity to meet, socialize, and enjoy participating in a physical activity.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned ice skater, this special event is the perfect occasion to make some new friends and learn some ice skating skills. The event is from 12:00-1:00 pm on January 12th, 2024. The first part of your skating time will include free instruction by our dedicated coaches and then independent practice time, followed by another hour of Public Skating, also free!
Please join us at the hot chocolate bar after the event and meet our coaches and other students. For those interested in continuing their learning journey, the academy has three homeschool classes each week. More information about our skating programs will be provided at the event. The event is sponsored by Lakeland Ice Arena and the Skating to Excellence Academy.
