Many of the libraries in Polk County offer special summer programs in addition to regularly scheduled kids activities that happen year-round. Summer programs include a variety of hands-on activities, performances, guest speakers, guest animals, musicians, etc. – they are not your traditional storytime. All library programs are FREE!

All of these programs are on our calendar, along with year-round kids and teen activities at the Lakeland Public Library, Larry Jackson Branch Library, and eLibrary South Lakeland.

Don’t miss our list of Summer Reading Programs to learn how kids can earn prizes for tracking their summer reading!
