For over 30 years, Choe’s Martial Arts School has been serving the city of Lakeland and the surrounding area with personal instruction in fitness and self-defense through traditional martial arts. We are one of the largest and most respected schools in the nation.

Located in North Lakeland, Country Lane is an innovative year-round preschool with a performing arts program that has served the community for over 45 years. Full time and part time programs are available for students age 2 and potty trained to Pre K with after school care from local elementary schools. Dance lessons and gymnastics for children 2 years of age through adults available at The Loft Dance Studio (enrollment at Country Lane is not required to attend classes).

FAM Kids Club is an After School and Summer Program for children ages 4-5th grade. During the school year, FAM Kids Club will pick up students from specific schools in Mulberry and south Lakeland. Students will fill their afternoon with art, outdoor play, snacks, reading time, homework help and small group activities.

Family Martial Arts Center offers after-school care, summer camps and night class programs for all ages. Our school strives to instill the basic life virtues of discipline, respect, integrity, and confidence. These qualities have been the foundation of the martial arts student since the beginning. The staff of Family Martial Arts Center helps reinforce each quality trait through Leading by Example.

For over 50 years, the YMCA has been the only cause-driven wellness center in our area to offer programming for the whole family that focuses on the spirit, mind and body. At the YMCA we are more than a gym…we are a FAMILY! Facilities include: a weight room, gym, fitness room, outdoor swimming pool, locker rooms, racquetball courts, a after-school care, and more.

Girls Incorporated of Lakeland offers daily after school and summer programs for girls in grades K-12 in West Polk County. We inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through life-changing programs and experiences that equip them to overcome gender, economic, and social barriers.

Goal Seekers/Eagles K-8 is an after-school care and before school care program based at Highland Park Church. We are licensed through ACSI and is a safe place where your kids will be cared for by the best! We offer Summer Camps as well as provide full day programs when school is out. We are also home to Small Wonders Preschool for ages 8 weeks – PreK4.

With over 45 years in business, The Loft Dance Studio provides dance lessons for children 2 years of age through adults. Come establish a solid foundation and a love of dance in the areas of ballet, pointe, tap, gymnastics, jazz hip-hop, and boys team. Located at Country Lane Child Enrichment Center.

Homework help, recreational programming and educational programming are included in the free After School All-Stars program for grades K-5 at the Medulla Resource Center. Minds in Motion after school program offers a variety of activities for ages 5 – 12. Your child will enjoy daily access to technology resources, gaming stations, STEAM activities, creative learning & play, academic assistance, and much more. Our goal is to provide a facility that is clean, safe, and offers daily enrichment focused on student interest, knowledge, and skills.

NEXT Weekdays offers structured before- and after-school care for Lakeland Highlands Middle School students, located conveniently nearby at Presbyterian Church in the Highlands. We are here for students from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 8:30 a.m. in the morning and then from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the afternoon. Students can enjoy a variety of daily activities, receive homework help, and earn community service hours on early-release Fridays. The program emphasizes faith, excellence, adventure, service, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment.
