Eagles Wings Sanctuary offers trauma-informed, holistic services for survivors of domestic violence, including support groups, life skills coaching, personal development, financial literacy, job readiness, and faith-based domestic violence awareness training. Donations welcome – journals, gift cards, self-care items, toiletries, hygiene products, and non-perishable snacks for support group participants. One More Child provides aid to foster children, hungry children, single moms, sex trafficking victims and struggling families. One More Child’s Family Support Program in Lakeland connects struggling families with the resources and they need to thrive. We offer customized family support plans, training and supportive community network for parents, connections to available resources and services, and access to tangible resources for the family such as food, diapers, clothing, and basic household essentials.
The community can also support One More Child through donations and volunteer opportunities. Donations needed include children’s clothing, toys, books, bedding, women’s clothing, diapers, household items, kitchen supplies, food, and financial donations.
Peace River Center provides an array of mental and behavioral health services as well as domestic violence shelters, and a Rape Recovery and Resource Center.
