Eagles Wings Sanctuary

Eagles Wings Sanctuary offers trauma-informed, holistic services for survivors of domestic violence, including support groups, life skills coaching, personal development, financial literacy, job readiness, and faith-based domestic violence awareness training. Donations welcome – journals, gift cards, self-care items, toiletries, hygiene products, and non-perishable snacks for support group participants. One More Child

One More Child provides aid to foster children, hungry children, single moms, sex trafficking victims and struggling families. One More Child’s Family Support Program in Lakeland connects struggling families with the resources and they need to thrive. We offer customized family support plans, training and supportive community network for parents, connections to available resources and services, and access to tangible resources for the family such as food, diapers, clothing, and basic household essentials.

The community can also support One More Child through donations and volunteer opportunities. Donations needed include children’s clothing, toys, books, bedding, women’s clothing, diapers, household items, kitchen supplies, food, and financial donations.

Peace River Center provides an array of mental and behavioral health services as well as domestic violence shelters, and a Rape Recovery and Resource Center.

Families going through difficult times discover spiritual help from caring Corps Officers and loving support from a community of believers. Whether it’s a warm blanket, a safe place to stay, The Salvation Army stands ready to share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone.

Women's Resource Center

Women’s Resource Center of Florida helps women and their families during times of crisis and transition. Services include domestic violence support, crisis intervention, financial fitness classes, interview skills, interview clothing, computer skills, job training, and more.
