The Children’s Clothes Closet supplies nearly 2,000 homeless and at-risk infants, children and teens in our community with everyday clothing, school uniforms, personal care kits and more. Clients are served through referrals only, not open to the public.
Donations of new or clean, gently worn clothing in sizes from newborns through adults, new underwear (with unopened packaging) and travel-sized personal care items help serve more children. Items may be brought to the Clothes Closet when open or placed in the brown bin outside our Facilities Office near the F building at FUMC.
Volunteer assistance is always welcome to process donations, including mending and washing items as needed and sorting clothing by size.
