Explorations V Children’s Museum

Camp Explorations is the premiere hands-on camp in Central Florida. Join us for Thanksgiving Break Mini Camps on November 27 & 29 and explore your artistic side. Programs lead by local artists and supported by the Museum’s education team.

Monday, Nov. 25 @ 12-4pm – Teens gather when school is out to make a homemade lunch and 3 pies to take home for their Thanksgiving dinner. We will make an apple, pumpkin and pecan pie! Such a fun way to play in the kitchen and even more rewarding when you can bring dessert home for such a special holiday.

Tuesday, Nov. 26 @ 9am – 2pm – We will make breakfast, lunch and 2 dinner sides for 6 people for Thanksgiving! Fresh green been casserole, cinnamon apple cranberry sauce and scalloped potato gratin. After hours available for $5 an hour until 5pm. Such a fun way to save time for the family and be so proud of helping with Thanksgiving dinner!!!

Wednesday, Nov. 27 @ 9am – 2pm – Kids grades K-8 will come make breakfast, lunch and 3 Thanksgiving pies to take home to their families for Thanksgiving dinner! Homemade apple pie, pumpkin pie, and pecan pie. We will also make place setters for the family dinner table. Please send food allergies. All will be followed for all recipes! After hours available for $5 an hour until 5pm.

Camp Fire Vacation Station

Vacation Station Day Camp is held most weekdays, throughout the school year, when Polk County Public Schools do not hold class. Youth in grades K-5 will learn about a different wonder of the world in this virtual trip around the world. Fun, hands-on activities and educational enhancements provide a day filled with learning and recreation.

Going Wild – TimberNook West Central Florida

Art Centric Studio

Art Centric Studio is hosting a MiNi ArT Camp for ages 4 to 8. This is their first camp with a brand new theme called ‘Respect the Locals’ dedicated to the eduction and preservation of Florida’s wildlife. In this two day camp, your student will be creating artwork in the style of the 5 different types of sea turtles that call Florida home. They’ll be creating a project a day so this camp is perfect for pop-in or enjoy a discount on both days.

Minds in Motion Thanksgiving Daily Drop In Camp

Our goal is to provide your child with a quality program that combines enrichment through STEM / STEAM concepts and hands-on exploration in a fun, safe environment!  Your child does not need to be enrolled in our after school program in order to attend during holidays or breaks.

Haines City Parks & Recreation Thanksgiving Camp

Haines City Parks and Recreation will host Holiday Camp during Thanksgiving Break for children currently in grades 1-5. This camp session is at the Lake Eva Community Center Monday, November 25 through Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Lunch will not be provided, so campers need to bring a packed lunch and two snacks with them to camp. We will play at Lake Eva Park, enjoy arts and crafts, play games, go to the basketball gym, and more!
