Arcade Games

The arcade features over 100 video and redemption arcade games ranging from the classics like Pac-Man and Galaga, to the newest cutting edge games including Super Bikes 2, Crossy Road, Monster Drop, Power Roll, Pearl Fishery, and more. With such a large selection, they are sure to have a game you’ll love! Family Fun Center is adding new games all the time.

Mini Golf at Family Fun Center Lakeland

Enjoy an 18 hole adventure golf course. Fully lit so you can play day or night! Golfers of ALL ages will enjoy competing on each of the par 2 holes along the way.

Funtasia Soft Play

One of the largest soft play areas in the country, Funtasia at Family Fun Center is active entertainment for all of your little ones ages 12 & under. Your children will explore a 4 story maze of tunnels, tubes, slides, and obstacles. Kids will have a ball interacting with each other and finding their way through all of the fun activities. In the back corner you’ll find a ball pit and small slides just for the babies and toddlers. Visit on a weekday morning when the big kids are at school for the best experience with your little one! The unlimited day pass allows for re-entry so that you can enjoy the other attractions at the Fun Center.

Prize Redemption

The HUGE prize redemption counter has something for everyone. You’ll earn tickets as you play games and then get to pick out a toy, game, or candy to take home as your prize.

Vault Assault & Beam Busters Lazer Maze

The Vault Assault Laser Maze Challenge is one of the newest attractions. It’s a thrill you just can’t experience anywhere else! Just like in the movies, crawl, jump, balance your way carefully through the lasers to get to the mission objectives on the other side of the room. You’ll have to make it back to the door as quick as you can and AVOID breaking the lasers to get the lowest score possible. Switch to Beam Busters Mode and see how many lasers you can break in a limited amount of time. Compete against your friends for a spot on the top 10 scoreboard!

Family Fun Center Laser Tag

The Lazer Tag arena offers over 2200 square feet of heart-thumping space. You can run but you cannot hide! The city is under attack! You and the members of your team must navigate the subway and sewer tunnels to avoid detection. You can compete one on one, or as a team up for capture the flag style play. Grab up to 20 of your friends {or fellow moms} and give it a try!

Birthday Parties & Team Celebrations

Often called the most fun spot in Lakeland, Family Fun Center is the perfect location for birthday parties, team parties, and other celebrations. Party Packages start at just $189 and can be customized with any of the attractions based on the age group of your party. All packages include pizza, drinks, and a birthday gift for the guest of honor. For your next birthday party, let Family Fun Center do the set-up, clean-up, and all the entertaining in between. Special Events + Discounts at Family Fun Center

FFC often has special events for holidays including Breakfast with Santa, Easter Bunny Photos, a Halloween Party, Free Golf on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, and more. Special events sometimes include unlimited attractions (mini golf, laser tag, laser maze, Funtasia) for a 2 hour window, which is a great deal.

Editor’s Note: My parents opened Family Fun Center in Lakeland in 1981 when I was 2 years old. It has been our family business ever since then, somewhere I spent countless hours of my childhood and teen years, and my brother now owns and runs it. The original Family Fun Center location was at 3895 S Florida Ave in Lakeland (now Spice Sushi). In the late 80’s there was also a Family Fun Center location with mini-golf on 98N (now Palace Pizza), and also a location with arcade games at the corner of Combee and Memorial. In the early 90’s all of those locations were consolidated and Family Fun Center opened at its current location on South Florida Ave.

My dad designed the mini-golf course (I have memories of playing a LOT of mini-golf with my brother as we checked out other courses) and my parents spent 35+ years creating a safe space for families in Lakeland to play together. My dad’s “grandpa” name is Cappy (he is also our boat captain) and Cap’s Pizza Cafe is named in his honor.
