Camp Fire’s Summer Challenge (entering 6th-12th grade)
Summer Challenge is a series of full-day service-learning projects offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Projects range from working at a wildlife refuge to helping feed the homeless. These experiences aim to be not only educational but also a collaborative effort with other agencies in our region. Challenge is open to teens in 6-12 grade.

Camp Fire’s CF66 Service-Learning Road Trip (entering 9th-12th grade)
CF66 is a week long service-learning road trip for teens in 9th-12th grade. Teens and leaders travel by van throughout Florida learning more about our wonderful state and giving back to the communities they visit. The trip is full of youth empowerment and leadership opportunities. Teen are responsible for themselves and their teammates, helping with activities such as budgeting their money for the week, meal planning, solving puzzles, and of course, exciting service projects.

Camp Fire’s Nature Quest Camp (entering 6th-8th grade)
Nature Quest is an environmental education-based service-learning trip for rising 6-8 graders. Our team travels by van to a designated area where they set up camp for 4 days. During the week, the team will explore the many facets of Florida wildlife and ecosystems, and learning about environmental advocacy, while giving back to the community they visit.

This is a great trip for novice campers, or for teens looking for a fantastic opportunity to check out the amazing things in their own backyard.  The trip is full of youth empowerment and leadership opportunities. Nature Quest Camp is available to youth entering 6-8 grade.

Buckingham Terror Haunted House Planning
Every Halloween, Camp Fire Sunshine transforms into Buckingham Terror – a teen-run program of Camp Fire. But, this program is only able to be brought to life by a dedicated group of Camp Fire teens, staff, and volunteers.

Want to be a part of the team that makes this nightmare a possibility? Come and be a part of our planning meetings where we will be creating this year’s theme, and blueprint for how the haunt will be constructed, staged, and run. Planning meetings are open to teens going into 6-12 grade.

Camp Fire also offers:
Camp Light-A-Spark (K-5)
