Our school strives to instill the basic life virtues of discipline, respect, integrity, and confidence. These qualities have been the foundation of the martial arts student since the beginning. The staff of Family Martial Arts Center helps reinforce each quality trait through “Leading by Example”. Our children of the future need positive role models that will set the right example. Our instructors and staff make this the first priority. We believe in offering programs that meet the needs of the community, provide quality instruction, and fair prices that everyone can afford.

Summer Day Camp Activities include games, crafts, movies, and martial arts classes. Our optional field trips include theme parks, bowling, arcades, swimming, laser tag, and skating just to name a few. These field trips are an additional cost and students not attending the day’s activity will enjoy a fun day at the school.

Weekly taekwondo classes are optional but are included with tuition.

Summer Camp is designed for 2-year-olds through 5th grade students for the months of June and July and closed the week of the 4th of July. Only pay for the weeks attending! It will be a memorable summer experience for every student with weekly themes, on-site “field trips”, and all things summer fun! There is limited availability, so if interested, preregister now.

Mini Mocs Camp (ages 4-6) is the perfect opportunity to learn the fundamentals of soccer in a fun and engaging environment. Whether your child is new to the sport or just looking to improve their skills, this camp is the ideal place to start. Camp activities focus on basic soccer techniques and teamwork, ensuring a positive and exciting experience for all participants!

Junior Soccer Camp (ages 7-13) is designed for both recreational and competitive soccer players, boys and girls alike. With fun and engaging training sessions, small-sided games, and exciting World Cup soccer tournaments, your child will develop their skills while having a blast!

Elite Kids Soccer Camp (ages 12-14) offers a unique experience for aspiring soccer players, designed to showcase training routines, video sessions and on-field play of an FSC’s soccer athlete. Over the course of 3 days, participants will engage in a variety of activities that are integral to the collegiate soccer experience. The camp is tailored for experienced players, and will include Functional Training, Resistance Training, Soccer Training Sessions, Video Analysis, Small-Sided and 11v11 Games.

Join us for Summer Art Camp! Give your children (ages 8 to 14) a safe, creative, and open atmosphere to develop their love and appreciation for the arts. Our engaging Summer Camp program fosters the freedom of exploration through a wide array of creative processes, media, and techniques with the guidance and support of our certified art teachers. Campers will have access to endless inspiration by developing studio habits, visiting art-filled galleries, and taking supervised strolls to Lake Morton, Florida Southern College, and Hollis Gardens.

Civics Leadership Academy Join the Civics Leadership Academy (CLA) at Polk State College and experience hands-on learning at the leadership level. At the Civics Leadership Academy, students will identify an issue they are passionate about within their school, community, or city and then create a solution for that issue. Join the Civics Leadership Academy and find out what leadership means to you!

Our Students participate in a balanced program of structured activities while being supervised by well-trained and caring staff. Our qualified staff encourages positive communication between children while enhancing personal development.

Children get involved in a variety of learning centers such as, health enhancement and character development. At Evolution’s Martial Arts we focus on developmental assets and the building blocks that teach children how to make positive and intelligent decisions throughout life.

Bricks 4 Kidz Summer Camp 2025 is back and more creative than ever! With a full summer of both half-day and full-day options, each week features an exciting new theme that sparks imagination and keeps kids coming back year after year. Every day at camp is a hands-on journey, packed with robotic LEGO® builds, mosaic art, 3D brick creations, group games, outdoor activities, and more! Welcome to summertime fun at the FSC Early Childhood Learning Lab summer safari for ages 3-8! Join us on a wild adventure as we visit faraway places and learn about a new animal every week. A summer your child will thank you for… Karate Beyond’s Ninja Camp is an exciting day camp experience in Lakeland. Offering a multitude of fun and constructive activities which includes the popular Karate Beyond Ninja Program. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED on South Florida Avenue next to Dairy Queen and Jimmy Johns; classes are especially friendly to students that are new to martial arts. Master Choe’s offers an action-packed summer experience, filled with daily martial arts training, special field trips, enrichment classes, along with group games and activities.

NO ELECTRONICS ALLOWED Students will practice traditional social skills with team building and challenges both physically and mentally! Students will be divided into (2) groups by age, maturity.

Destination Aviation allows campers to learn and engage in ALL aviation-related career fields. Experienced instructors will help campers dive into the world of aviation through experiential learning opportunities, hands-on activities, and flight simulation. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a 30-minute local exploratory flight with a certified flight instructor – observing first-hand the application of the concepts and skills learned during camp.

Our Future Engineer Summer Camp is intended for high school students, and provides a fun, engaging learning environment where campers design and create projects while discovering underlying engineering principles and processes. While campers work on their projects, they will investigate the design process and explore aerospace engineering disciplines. Engineering simulations will provide campers with the opportunity to design and build with their teammates.

She Can Fly Summer Camp is intended for girls in middle school who are interested in the world of aerospace. Campers will experience a one-of-a-kind summer camp that will introduce them to various aerospace careers from women such as airport designers, pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers, airport managers, A&P mechanics, and more! Campers will also have the opportunity to experience the sensation of flying in iFly’s state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel after they participate in an immersive, hands-on experience guided by iFly STEM educators. Last but not least, campers will participate in a 30-minute discovery flight with a certified flight instructor.

STEMtastic Summer Camp is intended for elementary school students. Summer Campers will participate in a week-long experience in STEM. Camps include in-depth explorations, hands-on activities, science experiments, presentations, and much more!

Take Flight Summer Camp is an advanced camp for high school students, intended for those who are seriously interested in and are considering pursuing their private pilot certificate. Campers will participate in accelerated ground school sessions covering the following topics: principles of flight, flight controls, flight instruments, weight and balance, performance, weather, airport operations, airspace, and navigation. After each session, campers will apply their instructional knowledge in our Redbird Flight Simulation Lab. At the end of the week, campers will take to the skies and fly in a general aviation aircraft with a certified flight instructor.
