Camp Details
Join the Civics Leadership Academy (CLA) at Polk State College and experience hands-on learning at the leadership level. Students will work in teams to identify an issue they are passionate about within their school, community, or city and then create a solution for that issue. Plus guest speakers such as local mayors, police officers, firefighters, and the Polk County Supervisor of Elections. Lunch and snack will be provided. In part to a generous donation from the Florida Department of Education, students will pay just $100 for the entire week.
