Our school strives to instill the basic life virtues of discipline, respect, integrity, and confidence. These qualities have been the foundation of the martial arts student since the beginning. The staff of Family Martial Arts Center helps reinforce each quality trait through “Leading by Example”. Our children of the future need positive role models that will set the right example. Our instructors and staff make this the first priority. We believe in offering programs that meet the needs of the community, provide quality instruction, and fair prices that everyone can afford.

Summer Day Camp Activities include games, crafts, movies, and martial arts classes. Our optional field trips include theme parks, bowling, arcades, swimming, laser tag, and skating just to name a few. These field trips are an additional cost and students not attending the day’s activity will enjoy a fun day at the school.

Weekly taekwondo classes are optional but are included with tuition.

Civics Leadership Academy Join the Civics Leadership Academy (CLA) at Polk State College and experience hands-on learning at the leadership level. At the Civics Leadership Academy, students will identify an issue they are passionate about within their school, community, or city and then create a solution for that issue. Our camp runs from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, filled with exciting activities, crafts, games, field trips, and more. Early Care starts at 6:00 AM and Extended Care is available until 6:00 PM for an additional fee. Don’t miss out on a wild summer of fun and adventure!

Bricks 4 Kidz Summer Camp 2025 is back and more creative than ever! With a full summer of both half-day and full-day options, each week features an exciting new theme that sparks imagination and keeps kids coming back year after year. Fan favorites like Minecraft return alongside brand-new adventures, giving every camper something to get excited about.

Every day at camp is a hands-on journey, packed with robotic LEGO® builds, mosaic art, 3D brick creations, group games, outdoor activities, and more! Campers take home their own custom LEGO® minifigure and fun themed crafts, plus parents get photo updates of all the amazing models built throughout the week. If your child loves to build, invent, and create, Bricks 4 Kidz is the place to be this summer!

Do you want MORE for your child this summer? Join Minds in Motion summer camp and become part of an exciting kids program in Lakeland! Our summer program offers a wide range of experiences including STEAM activities, creative play and imagination rooms, computer stations, video games, outdoor areas, and a STUDIO for whole body fitness and theater arts. They will be having such a great time, they won’t want to leave. Your child will have a wide variety of opportunities for field trips and experiences.
