The Central Florida Welcome Center will host their Fall Festival “Jack O’Lantern Jubilee” on Saturday, Oct. 29. This FREE, family-friendly event will take place from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. including trick-or-treating, a pumpkin carving contest (see entry details below), a free caricature artist and free face-painter, plus local vendors. Costumes are welcome.
Attendees will have an opportunity to buy one discounted Bok Tower Gardens ticket and get a second ticket free, for tickets purchased at the welcome center during the event. Attraction ticket prices are already discounted, making this an especially attractive offer.
Prizes for the Pumpkin Carving Contest will be awarded at 1 p.m. to conclude the event. Note: Entries for the contest must be submitted in advance of the event and will be accepted all day on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 27 and 28, for display and judging. Entries will compete in three age groups: 3 to 9 years old, 10 to 15 years old, and 16 years to adult.
