Polk Scholastic Chess

Polk Scholastic Chess is a nonprofit organization that hosts Interschool Chess Tournaments – open to all students of Polk County, Florida, enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, including home-schooled students (who are residents of Polk County). We exist to encourage academic growth through the game of chess. Students can register through their school or individually if there is no school organized team. Polk Scholastic Chess hosts 5 Tournaments during the school year at the Bartow Civic Center.
