The Nest

The Nest is a community resource center that houses the clinic and administration offices for Celebrate Birth, a midwifery practice that serves the growing families of Lakeland, Florida and its surrounding areas. At The Nest, Celebrate Birth offers prenatal and postpartum care with Licensed Midwives, as well as classes and lactation support that are available to everyone, regardless of where they are receiving prenatal care. Classes include Prenatal Nutrition, Breastfeeding Basics, Childbirth Preparation, The Fourth Trimester, and Pediatric Safety & CPR. Lactation support is provided by IBCLCs who have advanced training in oral function, restrictions, and habilitation of the newborn baby. (Please note, the Celebrate Birth birth center is a separate facility, located at 1525 Edgewater Beach Drive.)
