Looking for ideas to keep your kids physically active at home? These free kids workout videos are so much fun, your kiddos won’t even realize they are exercising!

Below you’ll find workout videos for teens and kids, preschool and toddler exercise videos, fun brain breaks to get the wiggles out, and dance videos just to get kids up and moving around. Use these online exercise videos to help kids burn off extra energy, turn off the video games and screen time, plan a whole family dance party, and enjoy a kid friendly workout together right in your own living room.

Online Exercise for Kids

Body Coach TV – P.E. with Joe

PE with Joe started in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. Joe Wicks decided to host a free fun workout aimed at kids and families live on his YouTube channel, everyday Monday – Friday while the schools were closed, and did over 70 workouts! These live videos have ended, but you can still find PE with Joe on Body Coach TV. These are 30 minute videos for kids, but adults can join in the fun too. (I LOVE his accent!!) If you’re a big fan of Joe, he also has a website and Body Coach app.

Beachbody Kids Workouts

Beachbody offers a free selection of Beachbody Kids Workouts from celebrity personal trainers Tony Horton, Leandro Carvalho, and Shaun T {our favorite!} At time of publishing there are 14 workouts available that are aerobics for kids but also fun for moms. KIDZ BOP Daily Dance Break

KIDZ BOP has a huge selection of dance videos on their YouTube channel. Many of them are short videos with a single song, but search for Daily Dance Breaks for longer videos. They are approximately 1 hour long and will get your kids up and moving to the latest hit songs, plus teach them the dance moves. NEO Kids

With fun, safe, and effective exercises for children ranging from 4-12 years of age, NEO Kids was created to unite kids’ fitness and family bonding in the comfort of your own home. In these 10-20 minute workout videos, NEOU trainers bring high-energy, functional, bodyweight workouts and exercise for kids that you and your child can experience together. POPSUGAR Fitness

POPSUGAR Fitness has over 500 workouts on YouTube from celebrity trainers and fitness experts across strength, cardio, dance and yoga. They have a Family Fun Cardio Workout filled with aerobic exercises, and kids could also likely do some of their beginner workout videos.

Cosmic Kids Yoga

The Cosmic Kids Yoga YouTube Channel has a variety of Yoga and mindfulness videos including the very popular Frozen Themed Yoga Adventure. Other themes include Harry Potter, Moana, Trolls, and Star Wars, as well as introduction videos for beginners.

Yoga for Kids

You can find a variety of kids yoga videos with a real yoga instructor on YouTube. A few to check out – Yoga for Kids, YogaToday for Kids, and Yoga for Kids.

GoNoodle

GoNoodle provides movement and mindfulness videos created by child development experts. Available for free at school, home, and everywhere kids are! Some of their resources include:

  • GoNoodle Games – a free app created to get kids moving at home and on the go! With GoNoodle Games, kids have to get up off the couch to play – they use their actions to control a suite of fun movement mini-games designed to wake up their bodies, engage their minds, and let them have tons of fun – with no controller, data connection, or extra hardware required! All you need is a smart device and the free GoNoodle Games app!
  • GoNoodle Videos – hundreds of videos are available on the GoNoodle website, as well as any of the GoNoodle apps on iOS, Android, AppleTV, Amazon Fire, and Roku.

Toddler + Preschool Exercise Videos

While younger kids can participate in any of the videos listed above, these exercise videos for toddlers are ideal for preschoolers through kindergarten workout videos. Even younger school aged kids will enjoy a chance to be silly and get the wiggles out!

Jack Hartmann Kids Music Channel

Jack Hartmann is one of my boys’ favorite people to watch on video, or even live at local events (He comes to their school every year!) Many of his videos are educational and can help kids learn the alphabet, colors, and counting, but he’s also got videos that are just plain FUN! (Tooty Ta anyone?? Shake Break??) The Learning Station

The Learning Station YouTube Channel is ideal to get younger kids up and dancing. Their videos include Brain Breaks Action Songs for Kids and a Seasonal Songs in Motion Playlist for Kids.

Shake Break

This popular Pancake Manor YouTube video – Shake Break – will have your kids shake, jump, and turn around with puppets Reggie and Jack. (Don’t blame us when it sticks in your head all day!)
