We’ve got a list of all the places to find Independence Day Celebrations and fireworks in Polk County, including Lakeland, Winter Haven, Auburndale, Haines City, Bartow, Lake Wales, Davenport, Lake Alfred, and even LEGOLAND Florida. Some cities have their fireworks on July 2 or July 3 so plan accordingly.

Where: Lake Mirror / Downtown Lakeland
The T.Mims Corp. Red, White & Kaboom 4th of July Celebration will take place with live music at Lake Mirror along the Frances Langford Promenade on July 3rd from 6:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. with a breathtaking fireworks display dazzling the crowd at 9 p.m. If you’re looking for 4th of July Fireworks in Lakeland, you’ll want to be at Red, White & Kaboom. Lakeland Flying Tigers 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
– Game time 5pm
Where: Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium

Where: Mosaic Park Bartow
Bartow’s annual 4th of July Celebration will be held at Mosaic Park. Guests will enjoy a full lineup of live music, food vendors, games, fireworks and much more. Zephyrhills Summerfest Fireworks

Where: Zephyr Park, Zephyrhills, FL
Zephyrhills Summerfest Fireworks show returns to Zephyr Park for a full day of family-friendly fun and fireworks over the beautiful Zephyr Lake. This is a family-friendly event with a kids zone, bouncers, waterslides, cooling activities & family games, local food trucks & restaurants, cold treats, lemonade, and carnival food, with a Live DJ Emcee & Live Music Performances on stage all day, and a 30-minute Fireworks Show over the lake. (This is not in Polk County but it is only a 25-30 minute drive from Lakeland)

Beach Fireworks in Florida – Tampa – St. Pete – Clearwater
If you’re looking for beach fireworks in Florida for the 4th of July, there are events all across Tampa Bay.
Boom by the Bay Tampa – Boom by the Bay is Tampa’s Fourth of July celebration on July 4, featuring family-friendly activities, live entertainment, a boat parade, and a fireworks display along Tampa’s iconic Bayshore Boulevard. Activities are planned at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park including Pickle Ball Tournament, Apple Pie Throwdown, Free Concert, Family Zone (face painting, bounce houses, sack races, corn hole), Food Trucks, and Fireworks around 9:15pm over the river.
Safety Harbor – Bring the whole family out for a July 4th Celebration Safety Harbor style on Friday, July 4. There will be children’s activities, live entertainment, food vendors, and plenty of fun for the whole family beginning at 5pm. Get a good seat in the Marina or the Waterfront Park because the fireworks display over Tampa Bay goes off at exactly 9:00pm.
Clearwater Celebrates America – Clearwater Celebrates America is happening on July 4 at Coachman Park and The Sound – the new music venue in downtown Clearwater. Starting at 5 p.m., enjoy local vendors and food trucks, family friendly activities, live music and buskers throughout the park. There will be a free patriotic performance at The BayCare Sound by Coachman Pops Orchestra. No tickets are needed and seating is first-come, first served.
In past years, there have also been professional fireworks in St. Pete and Anna Maria. We will add those 2025 events once we receive details.
4th of July National Fireworks on TV Tonight
Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular over the Hudson River in NYC
The centerpiece of this breathtaking, 2-hour LIVE summer special is the nation’s largest patriotic pyrotechnic display, with over 40,000 fireworks illuminating the night sky over the Hudson River. The nation’s top musicians perform their hottest hits, and the biggest Hollywood stars are on hand to help honor Independence Day. Tune into NBC on July 4 at 8pm.
A Capitol Fourth – A Star-Spangled Birthday Party — Live From the U.S. Capitol!
Capital Concerts hosts A Capitol Fourth, the national July 4th TV tradition on PBS. Enjoy highlights from the concert’s forty-year history and the stirring patriotic favorites viewers enjoy on the Fourth of July. Watch LIVE online on July 4 from 8:00 – 9:30pm EST.
Boston Pops Salute to Our Heroes on July 4th
Affectionately known as “America’s Orchestra,” the Boston Pops is the most recorded and arguably the most beloved orchestra in the country. The Boston Pops July 4th Spectacular will take place on the Charles River Esplanade. Conductor Keith Lockhart will lead a live televised / online performance of patriotic favorites.
