Summer Camps for Teens (12+) in Lakeland + Polk County
We are here to help you find summer camps for those hard to find age groups, including preschoolers and TEENAGERS!
It seems there are plenty of camps for elementary age kids, but we’ve also tracked down local camps for the older age group in middle school and high school to help you find summer camps for teens near you.
If you’re looking for a summer camp in the Lakeland or Winter Haven area for your son or daughter age 12 and older, this list is for you. There is no set theme for these camps, other than the ages they cover – summer camps for teenagers and summer camps for pre-teens.
**Be sure to check the listed ages for each camp. Some summer programs for teens only include a portion of the middle school and high school age group**
Please check directly with camp organizers for the most up-to-date details. All information on our website is for informational purposes only and each listing includes a link directly to the source.

Our school strives to instill the basic life virtues of discipline, respect, integrity, and confidence. These qualities have been the foundation of the martial arts student since the beginning. The staff of Family Martial Arts Center helps reinforce each quality trait through “Leading by Example”. Our children of the future need positive role models that will set the right example. Our instructors and staff make this the first priority. We believe in offering programs that meet the needs of the community, provide quality instruction, and fair prices that everyone can afford.
Summer Day Camp Activities include games, crafts, movies, and martial arts classes. Our optional field trips include theme parks, bowling, arcades, swimming, laser tag, and skating just to name a few. These field trips are an additional cost and students not attending the day’s activity will enjoy a fun day at the school.
