If you have a Harry Potter fan at home, or maybe you dream of being a wizard yourself, you can add a touch of Harry Potter magic to your days.

These Harry Potter online activities – websites, apps, printables, and even a Harry Potter escape room – will provide your kids (or you) with hours of magical Hogwarts themed fun. This will have to tide us over until we can visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal again!

We’ve also got details on how you can read Harry Potter books for free, how to stream Harry Potter movies, and even a few things you can get delivered from Amazon to round out your Harry Potter experience.

Harry Potter Games

Two Harry Potter themed games under the Portkey Games section.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is your very own adventure in the Wizarding World. Choose your story, learn magical spells, and duel against rivals in a magical journey.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite
From the makers of Pokémon GO, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is the real-world augmented reality (AR) game inspired by the Wizarding World that puts magic in the hands of players worldwide.

Both games (along with many others) are available for iPhone and iPad from the App Store, as well as Google App Store.

Harry Potter Escape Room

While you are staying safe at home and practicing social distancing, you can try your hand at an online virtual Harry Potter Escape Room for free! Developed by the staff at Peters Township Public Library in Pennsylvania. Your wizard-obsessed kids can work through a series of questions to and explore how to properly execute spells. Their Hogwarts knowledge will come in handy as they explore the halls or visit the House common rooms. It is also designed for Muggle Families who consider themselves Wizards and want to try the escape room as a group. We did it last night – it took about 15 minutes, my 9 and 11 year old could do it by themselves.

The Harry Potter Escape Room is run through a Google doc – click here to get started on your Harry Potter themed adventure.
